Change A Young Persons Life Today
Know a young person who could benefit from TackleLondon’s support? Whether you’re a teacher referring a student or a parent/carer seeking opportunities for your child, TackleLondon is here to help. We provide mentorship and community through rugby, empowering young people impacted by Adverse Childhood Experiences. Together, we can create a brighter future – one connection at a time.
Do I meet the criteria to apply?
TackleLondon works with young people aged 6-24 who have experienced one or more Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). This includes challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, which has impacted all children. If you qualify for pupil premium, you are also eligible. If this sounds like you or someone you know, we’d love to hear from you.
How Do I Apply?
Our TackleLondon Team works hard to assign our applicants to the right team that supports each individual’s needs, ensuring that everyone finds a place where they can thrive and develop. When you complete our contact form and detail your requirements, we’ll be in touch promptly to help direct you to the most suitable club or programme for you.
I’m unsure and want to ask questions?
We understand that ‘new’ can be daunting for the young people we enroll, but also for those who care for them. Our TackleLondon Team is passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere where curiosity is celebrated. If you have any questions, or simply fancy an informal chat to get to know our TackleLondon Team better, feel free to reach out to us.
Hear From the Young People Enrolled
On International Women’s Day, we had the privilege of speaking with three inspiring female players from TackleLondon. Their stories showcase how rugby builds confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. While this video highlights the experiences of our female players, rugby at TackleLondon is for everyone, regardless of gender. The benefits of the game are universal, and we’re proud to support all young people on their journey both on and off the pitch.
Hear From Our Mentors
At TackleLondon, our sports mentors embody this commitment every day. They provide the care and support essential for young people with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) to thrive in their well-being, academics, and sense of community. Through mentorship and rugby, we build relationships grounded in belief and encouragement, helping each young person unlock their full potential. Our mentors are here to say: We’ve got your back.
