At TackleLondon, we believe that sport, especially rugby, has the power to open doors, build confidence, and create lasting change. Few stories illustrate this better than Hezekai’s.
Hezekai’s rugby journey began just recently at Chestnut Park Primary School, where he attended his very first training session on Wednesday, March 12th. It didn’t take long for something to click. He left the session smiling and full of energy, and within days, he took the next step: joining his local club, Trinity Titans Rugby Club.

Now, Hezekai trains both at school and with the Titans, and he’s thriving in both environments. His passion for the game is undeniable. With every session, he’s growing in skill, confidence, and teamwork. But more than that, he’s become a source of joy and inspiration to those around him.
“He lifts everyone around him with his infectious enthusiasm.”
Hezekai is a shining example of what can happen when young people are given the chance to try something new in a supportive environment. He represents the core values of TackleLondon opportunity, growth, community, and belief.
Early engagement isn’t just about finding the next star player. It’s about giving young people the tools they need to thrive: resilience, self-belief, and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a team. It’s about helping kids like Hezekai realise that they matter, that they have something valuable to contribute, and that sport is one powerful way to express it.
TackleLondon is committed to building those foundations. Whether through school outreach, partnerships with community clubs, and our targeted mentorship programmes, we’re creating access points that transform lives. We couldn’t be prouder of Hezekai’s journey so far. And we can’t wait to see where his passion for rugby and the confidence it brings.
Here is the TackleLondon video on how it works from school to club to give you an idea of how we support the young people of London.
